The Perella Events name represents the founder and owner, Matthew Perella, who has the passion for exceptional food, professional service, and creating memorable and successful experiences for each and every one of his clients. After years of working in the industry for others, he felt strongly about launching his very own company. Perella Events represents the strong belief of treating others with respect, and creating an unparalleled event experience that goes above and beyond anything you've ever seen before.
Matthew Perella grew up in a small town of Massachusetts where common courtesies and respect for others was in every day living. He joined the Marine Corps after high school and gained even more discipline in treating people right, working under extreme pressure, and living by one of the Marine Corps motto's: "Improvise, Adapt and Overcome."
Matthew began working in the events industry in 2007 when he moved to New York City. The events managing position came very naturally because of his great appreciation for hard work, fine food, and treating people right. Matthew is extremely fortunate to have the pleasure and privilege of starting his career working beside some of the most prestigious event planners and chefs in NYC. Matthew took his childhood traditions, Marine Corps motto's, and event planning skills he's learned over the years, and used them to make Perella Events an exceptional asset in the event planning industry.
